Hi, I’m a Computer Scientist who lives in Florianópolis/SC, Brazil.

My history in computing started in 1999, when I was 13 years old, when I gave Win95 and Office classes at school.

After that I started to code mIRC scripts and “bots” and then, trying to become a cracker, I installed Slackware in my PC and learned a little bit of Perl and C, by myself.

Then, in 2003 I started my Computer Science formal journey at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS).

Right after receiving my bachelor’s degree, I started to pursue (in 2007) a master’s degree in Computer Science, which I finally finished in 2010 (yeah, 4 long years).

From 2003 and 2010 I’ve also worked in some companies doing web development with PHP.

By the end of 2010 I became a federal employee, working at the Brazilian’s Data Processing Service (SERPRO), where I worked until january 2013.

Finally, since february 2013, I’m working at Gendoc, trying to solve information extraction and natural language processing problems.
